Marengo, Ill. (March 3, 2020) – UniCarriers Americas Corporation (UCA) today announced its line of Rocla AGV offerings are now equipped with the all-new Rocla FleetController. With the software, Rocla AGV customers can monitor, manage and maintain an AGV fleet with real-time information.
The FleetController offers one platform that seamlessly connects all components required for an AGV operation. Operators can easily integrate the FleetController with their warehouse management system (WMS) and can effectively manage intralogistics transports. Under this new architecture, WMS integration is less exhaustive and simplified, allowing customers to modernize their operations all while delivering cost savings and improved uptime.
The software features a new dashboard tool that provides real-time data to track, optimize and problem-solve an AGV fleet. This tool connects with the Rocla cloud, instantly backing up data, while enabling technology and logistics managers and Rocla support to identify predictive and corrective diagnostics on the spot. The dashboard is also available as a standalone extension to existing AGV systems.
The FleetController comes equipped with standard features that include route and order optimizers that allow for improved transport efficiency and utilization of bigger AGV fleets. With the software, operators can also take advantage of vehicle charging capabilities that extend battery life and reduce downtime.
“We are really happy to offer the FleetController because this type of technology gives our customers the kind of intelligent fleet they’ve been looking for,” said Oskari Lindstedt, Rocla AGV Solutions sales director for UCA. “By delivering real-time data, it allows fleet managers to solve any operational problems quickly, ultimately improving their processes and seeing an impact on their bottom line.”
Rocla Oy will be exhibiting at the upcoming MODEX 2020 show, where attendees can speak to the UCA Rocla AGV sales team about the FleetController. Both UCA and Rocla are part of parent corporation Mitsubishi Logisnext, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of material handling and logistics equipment.
